Four-Person Flounder Gigging charter trip with Jake, Chad, Jim and Eric Hedrick. This was their first trip aboard the Flounder Barge Jake gigs the first BIG Flounder on the night from the front of the Flounder Barge. He did not miss a flounder all night long. June 23, 2005: Chad gigs the next big Flounder from the side of the Flounder Barge. This flounder was totally buried, and Chad gigged the sand on a hunch that a Flounder might be there, after learning that technique in Capt Mac's Flounder Gigging 101 course. Jake with another nice-size Flounder, 18" long, from the Flounder Barge. Jake did an excellent job all night long of spotting hard-to-see Flounder. June 23, 2005: Jake's Dad, Eric, gigs a BIG Flounder, 22", from the front of the Flounder Barge. Jake actually spotted this big Flounder, pointed it out to his Dad, and then Eric gigged it with precision. Eric spotted, and gigged, many Flounders on his own during the fun-filled evening. Jim, who enjoyed his Flounder Gigging Adventure relaxing on the front cooler seat of the Flounder Barge enjoying the stars and the tranquil bay, gigs a big Flounder on the night from the front of the Flounder Barge. The Eric Hedrick group ended the night with a cooler "slap full" of prime, fine-eating flounder. Congratulations to Jake, Jim, Chad and Eric for a very
