Jackson Mares wastes no time gigging another nice Flounder from the starboard, front side of the Flounder Barge.
The Alan Rau of the John Rau group is pictured with his first Flounder of the night. He gigged it only minutes into the Flounder Gigging excursion. This 22" Flounder was nice, but the group would get into some really BIG FLOUNDER a few minutes later!
The second, 26" MONSTER FLOUNDER is shown above our Flounder removal box. Notice the other BIG Flounder in the box. The group would go on to land MANY MORE FLOUNDER and SHEEPSHEAD during the fun-filled evening.
From Left to Right:  John Rau (with a 26" flounder), Alan Rau, and John Sabiston with a 27" flounder. Even though these guys had never been flounder gigging before, they landed some MONSTER Flounder during their exciting Flounder Gigging Adventure.
(Above, top two photos) Alan Rau gigged this GIANT Flounder, which measured 27" long and is pictured on top of our 94-quart cooler located on the front of the Flounder Barge.
(Right) John Rau was extremely productive during the night, gigging lots of BIG Sheepshead as well as Flounder.

Well, now is as good a time as ever to announce our newest business and web site that will be coming out soon...

  SheepsheadGigging.com!

Yes, we gig SO MANY of these tasty Sheepshead that we are going to dedicate another web site just for them!

Above, the MONSTER 27" FLOUNDER is pictured on top of our Flounder Box.  Notice the other nice Flounder and SHEEPSHEAD the John Rau group was getting early into the trip.
Above, John Rau is shown holding a 2nd BIG Flounder, which was also gigged by Alan Rau, John's Brother. Alan, the Valedictorian of Captain Mac's Flounder Gigging 101 course, listened attentively during Captain Mac's explanation, which included actual photos of Flounder laying on the bottom. As Alan so aptly put it, "the large Flounder blend in so well, your mind will play tricks on you, and tell you a Flounder is not there. I hardly could even see the Flounder, except for a very faint outline. There was no color distinction between the Flounder and the sand. Flounder are truly the camouflage masters of the marine world. I fully appreciate Captain Mac's orientation!"
Alan Rau's 2nd BIG FLOUNDER shown above on top of our 94 quart cooler located on the front of the Flounder Barge and below on top of our Flounder removal box.
John Rau shows his satisfaction with flounder gigging as he ends the night with another nice Flounder. The three guys ended the night with cooler full of Flounder and had the nicest compliments about Captain Mac Daniel and his boat, the Flounder Barge.  Thank you for your business, and we look forward to showing you another exciting Flounder Gigging Adventure soon.
John Sabiston of Jacksonville, Florida did a great job in gigging BIG Sheepshead throughout the night to supplement the many Flounder the group got. Don't forget to watch for...SHEEPSHEADGIGGING.COM!
